Carta al Centro de convenciones
November 28, 2012
Mr. Thom Connors
SMG Regional Vice President
Mr. Connors,
I write to you the following lines to inform you about
a very delicate and disgraceful situation which I'm sure you have no knowledge
of.
The company that offers security services to the Puerto Rican
Convention Center has a
PEDOFILE as the Director of Operations. This man is registered as a sex offender
in the "Registry of Persons Convicted for Sexual Abuse and Child
Abuse." This man's name is José M.AndinoMaldonado(http://prcjisweb.gobierno.pr/CjisServices/Forms/EntitiesForms/EntityFindForm.aspx?Language=Spanish&AccessToken=&SearchCriteria=&SearchOption=CJIS-LAW-266-REG_2&cn=69).
I don't understand how a prestigious institution as
the Convention Center
of Puerto Rico could
confide in a company that hires and hides information. This person clearly has
no qualifications whatsoever to work as a security guard and nonetheless
supervise anyone. I was informed by a social network page on Facebook of the
journalist José "Cheo" Cruz, which assures that there are other
security guards with criminal records as well working with this company which
offers its services to the Convention Center. Security is an area of extreme
delicacy and susceptibility since the whole operation of the company is at risk
and not to mention the security of the kids and women who assist to events at
the Convention Center.
I believe that it is extremely important that all
employees of the Luxor Solution Corp. should be thoroughly investigated and by
no means should they hire any person with any type of offense of this magnitude
that endangers the security of the people who attend to any types of events
given at the Convention Center.
My sources also have notified that the following have
been harassing other female employees and exhibiting pornagraphy: Anthony
Maysonet, Javier Rivera y Mickey Melendez. This harassment has reached the
extent of the resignation of various female employees who weren't able to get
this issue resolved; which I shouldn't have to mention, is simply unfair. The
security of woman and children should be a priority for every security company
which offers its services to places like the Convention Center. I shouldn't have
to say that this is not a priority to this company. Luxor Solutions is NOT
fulfilling its main requisites as a security company in simply running a
background check on its employees.
I sent a message to Blarys Segarra, bsegarra@prconvention.com with a copy to Ricky Vázquez,
Safety & Security Director at rvazquez@prconvention.com and something called to my
attention, a Facebook post on their page had said they had sent me a letter
giving me an explanation, a letter that I never received. If it wasn't because
they posted that comment on Facebook I would've never found out that "they
replied." This is why I cannot be satisfied with no explanation and the
mere suspicion that something is being hidden behind all of this. Hence my
reason for writing you this message.
Maybe you're wondering why this issue is of my
interest. Well, besides the fact that plenty of families and children attend to
events at places like the Convention center, Pedophilia is a mental illness
that cannot be cured which means no matter the time served for the crime
committed this person cannot be rehabilitated which by law prohibits people
like this to work in any place near children or woman which ever the case of
sexual abuse may be. I respectfully suggest, that a background check should be
conducted on all employees. Should there be a negative result, it should be
taken seriously and followed by immediate action and or termination.
Since we're living in a technological world you should
know that this type of information can spread quickly causing a negative
influence directly on the company.
My name is Ysik Rivera and I am the President of the
movement "Accuse Your Abuser" (https://www.facebook.com/AccuseYourAbuser), (https://www.facebook.com/groups/187605571288998/), I was sexually abused from age
five to ten and this page was created with the intent of orientation for other
sexually abused victims and for them to accuse them publicly so the world can
know who they are.
This message will also be delivered to U.S.A Parking,
since they're at risk as well due to the fact that they're also clients of the
Luxor Solutions Corp.
Thanks for your attention.
Respectfully,
Ysik Rivera
